Bought this suitcase because of an "island hopping holiday" where we also have to get on and off the ferry a number of times after the flight. This case is an "upright" model, has a hard shell and large internal wheels that roll well (I can now tell from my own experience). The large soft wheels (skeeler size) also roll a lot quieter than upright cases with 4 small hard wheels.
