I regularly came across macro photos on the net. Some of those photos stuck and this prompted me to make such images myself. Because a real macro lens is quite expensive, and I wasn't sure if it was or would become my "thing", I opted for an intermediate solution. I use these rings on my Eos D1-II N with the lenses: 100-400 and 24-105 from Canon and the result is impressive.
