The Peak Design Everyday 30L Backpack allows you to transport an SLR camera with 4 extra lenses, a 16-inch laptop, and an 11-inch tablet. Thanks to the removable origami dividers, you can partition the bag the way you like it. This means you can make the backpack fit your equipment. Easily grab your camera, thanks to the magnetic closure at the top. You can also easily reach your equipment via the zipper compartments on the side. A tripod can be attached to the extendable side compartments, for example. The adjustable shoulder straps allow you to comfortably take your camera equipment along. The waterproof zippers and the water-repellent material make this bag weatherproof.

Cause In my search for the ideal bag for photography/work/travel I have been looking for months to see what comes close to perfection for my question. I was looking for a bag that can not only accommodate a camera with accessories (lenses, filters, remote control, SD cards), but also a laptop, tablet, tripod, action camera, external hd, power bank, a lot of cables, documents and a snack to get through the day. I did all this for six months with the National Geographic NG A5270. The search had already started before that and hoped to have found a friend on the back in the NG A5270. Everything fits in the NG A5270 and the wearing comfort is good, but it does become a bit of a mess in the bag. The lack of lockable compartments and modular spaces again prompted me to search for a new bag. So looking for a camera bag that also has a lot of space for all the other gear that I like to have with me every day. Requirements I set are that the bag is waterproof, has a high wearing comfort, offers the possibility to attach a tripod and of course it all has to look a bit good ;-).
Choice Before I bought the NG A5270, my eye had already fallen on the Peak Design bags. At that time, these were not yet available, only on pre-order via crowdfunding. Now that I was looking for a replacement, Peak Design quickly came around the corner. The sleekly finished bags look very good to me. Anyway, let's see what else is currently available on the market. In the past I also had a smaller LowePro camera bag and wore it with great pleasure. But LowePro was unable to convince me through the fine filters of Coolblue that 1 of the models would meet my requirements. Still have a look at the new models from National Geographic, the NG A5270 suited me very well in terms of wearing comfort. The Backpack A5290 comes close, but unfortunately is not completely waterproof and I don't feel like fiddling with a rain cover anymore. So the choice was made for me, the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 30L. Chosen for the Charcoal variant because it probably gets dirty less quickly.
The camera bag The photos and videos on the Peak Design website made me happy with the design, but when I took the bag out of the packaging I was completely convinced, what a beautiful bag! The first thing I did is check the bag completely for the stitching, left and right a loose thread, but otherwise the seams look great. Then time to fill the bag with everything I like to have with me, starting with my cameras and extra lens. We used 2 FlexFold Dividers for this. Telephoto lens, GoPro and camera with lens fit in the bottom 2 compartments. There is even room left for a 50mm lens, for example. The third FlexFold is the bottom for the top space in the bag. There is more than enough space for the laptop adapter, other larger accessories and a daily snack. There is even a lot of space left here! In this upper part of the bag is a handy small document pocket that closes with a magnet. As long as you do not fill it thicker than 2 to 3 cm, this magnet will also close. The top compartment can be closed in 4 different sizes, depending on the filling. This closure works very fine, in 2 steps, so that the bag cannot be opened unnoticed by someone. There are several lockable compartments in both side pockets. I missed this one in the NG A5270, so I went all out on this one. A small toolkit, 3 MacBook adapters, flashlight, SD cards, extra battery, cables, remote control, 2 filters and an external HD can easily be used here. The pockets are elastic and the whole is closed with a zipper. As a result, these small accessories cannot take on a life of their own in the bag. You can fasten the zippers, so the zippers cannot be opened quickly and unnoticed. On the outside of both side pockets there is room for a bottle and/or tripod. This also contains an anchor point, where you can quickly attach your keys, for example. Finally, I slide my 15 inch laptop and 10 inch tablet at the back into the 2 separate compartments for this. This is lined on the inside so that your laptop/tablet is protected. At the top of these compartments is also a small compartment that closes with a magnet. It has enough space for a wallet, tissues, telephone cable and earplugs. In terms of content, I am completely satisfied, everything is in it and I even have space left. Only now I see that the bag is not getting any smaller! Time to test the bag for wearing comfort. If you want to lift the bag, you can do so in many different ways. There are large handles on the top and sides of the bag. These feel nice and sturdy. The shoulder straps are wide and rotate at the top with the shape of your body. This keeps them hanging well on your shoulders. Adjusting the shoulder straps is very smooth, in fact, I've never experienced that smooth before! The chest strap can be attached at different heights, which works very well. But the chest strap can also be completely removed, so that it doesn't swing around if you don't like to use it. The belly straps are hidden in the side pockets, once out they work just as smoothly as adjusting the shoulder straps. All buckles are of high quality and feel good. There are ventilation ribs on the back of the bag. I don't have any experience with warmer weather yet whether these help well, but you don't feel the ribs when wearing it (a plus in my opinion). At the bottom of the front of the bag are 2 extra straps hidden to hang something on the bag. The hiding place of these straps also offers for my poncho and garbage bag. The wearing comfort is many times better than the NG A5270. But the bag is big, even my colleagues notice that. On the other hand, I always have everything with me ;-). Finally tested the water resistance, since I had made that requirement. So put the bag with contents in the shower! Fortunately, everything stayed neatly dry. The zippers are also waterproof. What must be paid attention to is the top of the bag, the main entrance must be closed tightly, otherwise some moisture can get inside.
Conclusion The Peak Design Everyday Backpack 30L is an all-rounder, waterproof, comfortable and big enough for a weekend away with the camera and it looks great in my opinion!
Delivery The bag was delivered in a large paper bag, which was neatly packed in a large box from Coolblue. Coolblue's reporting and delivery were again top notch! Photos were taken with a phone. If you have any questions you can post them in the comments :-).

Very nice, flexible camera bag. It is very comfortable to wear, even when fully packed (15" laptop, MIL camera with grip and 4 large lenses, large water bottle, umbrella, large headphones, toiletry bag, photo tripod, chargers, usb hard drive...). I'm fat too satisfied with the appearance: modestly stylish.
