The AEG SUPCHARC-E is an active carbon filter which removes up to 85% of the smell from food preparation. You don't have to buy a new carbon filter when the filter no longer works optimally. Clean the surface of the filter every 2 months with a damp cloth and then simply put it in the oven at 200°C for 45 minutes. Turn the oven off and wait an hour before removing the filter. That way, the filter can regenerate using the heat of the oven, after which you can make Asian curry again without having to worry. This carbon filter is suitable for the AEG X66163MK1, AEG X69163MK1, AEG DKB3950M, and AEG DKB3650M.
