After my Cambridge Audio Air 200 broke, it could not be repaired. After the great service from Coolblue, I switched to BlueSound. What an improvement! Sound comes alive!
Don't be fooled by the 80 watts of power. the volume range is huge. At 40% of range, my spacious living room is filled with sound. I use it in combination with a Rega Apollo R CD player with an audioquest Carbon coaxial cable and Spotify. The level of detail is enormous. The quality of the audio recordings stands or falls with the Pulse 2. With services such as Tidal, the same quality can be streamed as a CD player. I choose the CDs because of the fun and feeling.
The 35-BIT / 844 kHz DAC is lavish and benefits the sound.
The app works flawlessly. Online radio stations are easy to find. You can also control the Pulse with your TV remote once this has been set up in the app. Still, I would have preferred a separate remote control. You can then add this and it is easier to find than that of the TV.
