According to our bike navigation expert
The Mio Cyclo 210 Europa is a bike navigation system for recreational cyclists who like adventure. That's because the device always offers you 3 surprising routes with the surprise me feature each time, based on your start and end point. The turn-by-turn navigation leads you to the final destination of your cycling tour with clear instructions. While cycling, your screen displays your time, speed, distance, and altitude, among other things. The Cyclo 210 Europe has a standard map of Europe, so you can also use it when you cycle abroad. You use the MioShare app and the CycloAgent software on your computer to see even more data, such as your route history. You can also easily download extra routes.

Had a lot of fun on cycling holiday. We have cycled with it in Northern Ireland and Ireland and the navigation chooses nice recreational routes.
However, from the second week of use, the device started to jam (also while cycling). So you have to be very careful if he still does it. After reboot okay, sometimes hard reboot so keep a paperclip or toothpick handy. After 6 hours of cycling (off during lunch) the battery is almost empty, especially if you are looking for special addresses on the way. As far as we're concerned, that makes it not reliable enough to rely solely on the cyclo (long live the paper map). We have not included any routes, then you will not save the 6 hours. Long days were sometimes a bit exciting. Recreationally fine, device does not give the shortest route to a specific address (useful outside holidays or if you just want to know the way to the castle).
Setting out routes per day on the device works fine. Enter the address and the cyclo chooses a good (sometimes a bit steep, but it was not NL) safe, beautiful cycling environment.
In the city, the cyclo gets upset quickly, too slow and unclear in indicating correct turns.
So the two of us bought a second confirmation; do not buy the expensive version, it does not fit well on a normal handlebar. The one with tie wraps is better.
It's a pity that there is no possibility from your phone to send a new gpx route to the cyclo (wifi, bluetooth, ...). Also, the number of routes that you can save on the device is limited, the memory is getting full. So you have to prepare everything for your holiday or take a computer with you in your bicycle bag.
You can only navigate from your current location. So don't prepare a route from another location. For that you need your phone again, which you cannot connect during the trip.
Happy with it, nice device, but just not well thought out by the makers. At least not for a cycling holiday, it just lacks some useful functions.

recalculation of route takes a very long time, or then gives an incorrect arrival location

Simple, not many bells and whistles, clear, bought for my mother (83) and she can handle it.
