According to our WiFi speaker expert
With the Sonos One Gen 2 Duo Pack, you have the basis for a multi-room setup. Connect the 2 speakers to the power grid and to your WiFi network. Put the speakers in the same or different rooms and control them via the built-in voice assistant Google Assistant. You can also use the Assistant for all your questions about the weather, traffic, or your own calendar. Listen to the same music in multiple rooms or select which song is playing in each room. Control the music and the speakers via the Sonos app on your smartphone or tablet. Stream music from streaming services such as Spotify and Deezer, or choose your own playlists. Smartphone not around? With the touch control on the speaker, you can control the music without using your smartphone or tablet.

After much deliberation, decided to go for Sonos, it has become the double Sonos with the playbar. During the installation I had some small problems due to the poor accessibility of the sonos website (maintenance), because of this I was unable to create a username.
After I (finally) got through it at Sonos, connected the installation and registered in the Sonos App, that went really great. If the green light is on on the speaker, you can add it. My setup is a 5.1 setup (now without Sub). After registering the speakers and choosing the setup, you can connect your own remote control to the playbar. With your 'normal' remote control you can control all Sonos speakers via the Playbar. So also these One speakers. The Speakers can also be operated via the app or on top of the One speakers.
After this, you can pair your Google assistant with the Sonos One. This can then be used as a smart assistant and you can have it play music on Google play and Spotify, or radio via TuneIn. If you have linked your smart devices, such as Hue or Homey, you can control them via Google with the One speaker. All you have to say for this is 'Hey Google' followed by a command.
We immediately got rid of the 'old' amplifier and only used the Playbar and the One as a speaker/amplifier. An asset to your home

Once installed and configured it all works perfectly. I think the button on the back to activate the speaker on your network is a serious design flaw: the button is covered by the wall bracket (on the play:1 you just do this on the top of the speaker...) In addition, I find it very annoying that you can only use the speaker for 1 purpose, I wanted to configure the speakers as surround speakers on the one hand with the TV and at the same time as music speakers in a second configuration. That is not possible, so buy two extra speakers ... our room is now full.
