The first few days I had to get used to the idea that there was a robot in bed. You do hear a kind of mechanical noise when the robot breathes, but you get used to this after a few days. After sleeping with the robot for a few weeks, I notice that my body relaxes faster and I fall asleep more easily.
Mirroring breathing quite difficult
In the beginning I found it difficult to mirror my breathing, because I had not yet found the right pace. To mirror your breathing, you need to stay very focused on your own breathing. And that is quite difficult if your partner snores, but after a few days it goes easier.
Not immediate result
The first weeks I didn't have the idea that the sleep robot was working, but after the 3rd week I started to notice a difference. I fell asleep faster and felt that I got out of bed easier in the morning.
App with dark background
Via the app you choose at what pace you want to breathe. The nice thing about the app is the dark blue background. This means you won't be bothered by the bright light in the evening. The app is easy to use and offers different settings and breathing exercises. You can also set the sleep robot to play relaxing sounds, such as white noise.
Battery life could be better
After 2 uses, the sleep robot was usually empty. I didn't realize this in the beginning, so I had to sleep without the robot a few times. So don't forget to charge it.
