Pros and cons

According to our gaming headset expert
  • Pros:
The Razer Nari is wireless, with a battery life of up to 24 hours on a full battery.
  • Pros:
The extra large, oval ear cups with memory foam and cooling gel offer enough room for your (large) ears and keep your head cool during exciting games.
  • Pros:
Thanks to THX audio in supported games on PC, you'll have 3D sound, with the game simulating sound in the space around you.
  • Con:
Additional software is required for the use of surround sound. That is why surround sound only works on the PC.
  • Con:
Contrary to the Nari Ultimate, the Nari doesn't have a Razer Hypersense haptic vibration motor.
Product Expert gaming headsets

The Razer Nari Wireless Gaming Headset has everything a seasoned gamer wants from a wireless gaming headset. With a battery life of up to 24 hours, you can easily get through a gaming session or 2 without the headset running empty. You'll get through long gaming sessions comfortably, thanks to the oval ear cups filled with memory foam and cooling gel. On your PC, you can enjoy the 3D sound of THX with supported games, while you can use the Nari as a wireless stereo headset on your PS4. You can control the balance between your chat and game audio, and can instantly mute the microphone with the quick mute function. Want to be noticed? Set the Chroma lighting the way you like it with the Razer Synapse software. Note: 7.1 Surround Sound only works on a PC.

"Utterly fun experience. Worth its full price."

Giulio | 7 January 2020 | In de variant: Ultimate

  • Pros:
    Innovative haptic rumblers
  • Pros:
Crispy, entertaining sound, with excellent thx virtual surround
  • Pros:
    Comfortable
  • Pros:
Embedded virtual mixer / cable for streaming balances
  • Pros:
Sound isolation and great virtual surround
  • Con:
    Heavy
  • Con:
    Loose fit
  • Con:
    Very subjective sound equalisation

It's a surprisingly satisfying product. Not audiophile for sure, but not badly sounding either. A very personal sound signature: gaming is a blast, explosions are felt, the crude and tight mid-lows bring you to war.

If you have a small head, these are not for you. I don't see any woman possibly wearing these comfortably.

Alex | 7 August 2019 | In de variant: Standaard

  • Pros:

  • Pros:
    Cooling gel helps
  • Pros:
    Can go long without charging
  • Con:
    Little bit heavy

Feels great when wearing. Best thing is that it doesn't hurt/put pressure on my head when wearing my glasses!
Sound is nice.

"Great sound, great haptics, decent microphone"

Nikolay Petrov Nikolov | 10 February 2019 | In de variant: Ultimate

  • Pros:
    Great sound
  • Pros:
    HapticS are awesome
  • Pros:
    User friendly interface
  • Pros:
2 years wrranity offered by Razer
  • Con:
The mic could be better, but for wireless it is still ok
  • Con:
They fit ok, but for smaller heads it could feel like they are slipping but its only a feeling

I like the product and i am happy that i choose the Nari. They are great for gaming. I would not compare them with pro headsets for everyday music. They are built for gamers and for games and that's why i bought a gaming headset. The sound is still great for music according to me. Only the microphone could be improved but i still like it and the sound cancelation is good.

Utterly fun experience. Worth its full price.
