Pros and cons

According to our gaming headset expert
  • The extra large, oval ear cups with memory foam and cooling gel offer enough room for your (large) ears and keep your head cool during exciting games.
  • Thanks to THX audio in supported games on PC, you'll have 3D sound, letting you enjoy sound from all angles.
  • Thanks to the Razer HyperSense haptic driver, you don't only hear sound, but the headset also provides directional feedback, so you can actually feel vibrations when a jet flies over your head.
  • The Nari only plays stereo sound on consoles, instead of surround sound.
  • The mute button and the balance slider don't work when the headset is connected to an Xbox.

Description

The Razer Nari Ultimate Wireless Gaming Headset is meant for serious gamers that want to immerse themselves even deeper into their games. The Nari Ultimate has a haptic feedback motor in each ear cup, which will make you actually feel like a bullet flies past your virtual head or a tank drives right next to you. The motor can generate a wide range of frequencies, which makes every sound feel as different as it sounds. Combine this with THX 3D surround sound on your PC, and you have a whole new shooter experience at your disposal in new games. Get through longer gaming sessions comfortably, thanks to the oval ear cups with memory foam and cooling gel. Note: the mute button and the balance slider won't work if the headset is connected to an Xbox.

  • Con:
    Heavy
  • Con:
    Loose fit
  • Con:
    Very subjective sound equalisation

It's a surprisingly satisfying product. Not audiophile for sure, but not badly sounding either. A very personal sound signature: gaming is a blast, explosions are felt, the crude and tight mid-lows bring you to war.

If you have a small head, these are not for you. I don't see any woman possibly wearing these comfortably.

Feels great when wearing. Best thing is that it doesn't hurt/put pressure on my head when wearing my glasses!

"Great sound, great haptics, decent microphone"

Nikolay Petrov Nikolov | 10 February 2019 | In de variant: Ultimate

  • Pros:
    Great sound
  • Pros:
    HapticS are awesome
  • Pros:
    User friendly interface
  • Pros:
2 years wrranity offered by Razer
  • Con:
The mic could be better, but for wireless it is still ok
  • Con:
They fit ok, but for smaller heads it could feel like they are slipping but its only a feeling

I like the product and i am happy that i choose the Nari. They are great for gaming. I would not compare them with pro headsets for everyday music. They are built for gamers and for games and that's why i bought a gaming headset. The sound is still great for music according to me. Only the microphone could be improved but i still like it and the sound cancelation is good.
