Heard this speaker for the first time at Dancefair early this year. Convincing demo next to the bigger models - actually we thought the RP5 sounded better than the RP7 and RP8! Now in use for a few days in the home studio and the RP5 lives up to expectations. Tight, non-boomy bass, clear mids and highs. In short, pleasantly neutral and a lot of detail. Just have the equalizer on the back set to "flat". You can listen to it for hours without getting tired. In fact, you tend to turn them up again and again because it sounds so good!
