As an avid hobbyist, I had been looking for a more professional camera for some time, and since I had also worked with the JVC GY-HE170 for quite some time and was very satisfied with it, I stayed with JVC, and I don't pity me. Solid camera, beautiful and above all functional design. For example, the 3 recording buttons that you can operate in any position you hold the camera. The LCD screen is large, clear and very detailed. The automatic functions do what they should, but also adjusting the manual settings completely to your liking is smooth and pleasant. The sound quality is also very good. I always use an external microphone, and the professional XLR inputs in combination with the possibility of full manual adjustment make it nice to work. And then the image quality. That one is excellent. I already have experience with recording and editing in 4K quality, but I don't think the difference in quality compared to 1080p is big enough to experience the lack of a 4K mode on this camcorder as a minus or a lack. On the contrary, with the 3 CMOS image chips, the colors really pop from your image. Conclusion: top camcorder for a decent price!
