Description
The Goal Zero Nomad 20 Portable Solar Panel 20W is an easy to carry solar panel that you can use to charge smartphones and small power banks. The Nomad weighs 1 kilogram and it's about 30 by 19 centimeters when folded. This means that the panel easily fits in your backpack. The Nomad 20 has a USB-A port and an 8-millimeter connector Connect your own charging cable to the USB port to charge your smartphone, for example. The port delivers 10 watts, but an average of 6.5 watts actually remains. This means that it takes 2.5 to 5 hours to charge your smartphone, depending on the weather. You can connect the 8-millimeter connector to the 8-millimeter port of a Goal Zero power bank. The solar panel will supply 20 watts of power in that case, of which about 13 watts remains. This means you'll spend a good day charging the Goal Zero Sherpa 100, for example. Choose the Nomad 50 if you want to charge large power banks or power stations faster. There is an adjustable stand on the back of the Nomad 20 that allows you to place your solar panel in the right angle. The panels themselves are splash water resistant, but make sure the connectors don't get wet.
