Been using for a few weeks now. He likes it a lot better than our old mobile air conditioner. It's quieter, but not very quiet. You mainly hear the fan that spins very hard (and is not adjustable). As a result, the compressor hardly makes any more noise, which is nice in itself. We have it in the bedroom, and we can both sleep well with it, but as I said, our old one made a lot more noise.
