The Kidde WFPCO combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector gives you a warning when it detects both smoke and carbon monoxide in your house. This gives you a safe feeling, because you hear a loud signal when a fire starts developing and you prevent carbon monoxide poisoning with the same device. The combination detector has a battery life of 10 years, so you don't have to replace it. You can regularly check whether the smoke detector is still working via the test button. With the Hush button, you temporarily switch off the device. This is useful because it prevents it from going off when you're baking or grilling.
