The Nespresso Vertuo Next has a modern design and is extremely user-friendly. You can choose from many types of coffee, making the coffee choice huge. I have tested the coffee machine and I am happy to explain what I think.
Modern design and slim size
I think the Nespresso has a unique design. It has a sleek appearance and is super chic on the counter. What I really like is that it is very slim in size. This way it fits easily on the kitchen unit, without taking up too much space.
From an espresso to half a liter at the touch of a button
I open and close the Nespresso manually. It strikes me that the machine only has 1 button. I grab a cup and first see what kind of coffee I want to drink. I choose from an espresso (40 ml), double espresso (80 ml), gran lungo (150 ml), mug (230 ml) or a carafe (535 ml). The coffee machine then scans the barcode on each cup. This means the device knows exactly how much water has to go through the cup for the right proportion of coffee. While the coffee is being made, the machine makes quite a bit of noise. You will hear that the coffee capsule is spinning at a fast speed. After the coffee has been made, there is a large crema layer on the coffee. The capsule falls into the container after use. This is located on the right side of the machine. I notice that there is a puddle of water that I put the capsule in. The manual says to pat it dry. I find that a bit awkward.
Connect via Bluetooth
I simply connect the Nespresso to the app via Bluetooth. This way I receive messages to immediately solve any problems in the event of error messages. But what I especially like is that I get support with maintenance, such as descaling.
Made from recycled plastic
I really like that the machine has been made with the environment in mind. For example, the Nespresso consists of 50% recycled plastic and the box is made of 95% recycled cardboard. You also get the option to give the used capsules to Nespresso. So that Nespresso recycles the cups into new cups.
