The Synology RS2821RP+ is a rackmount NAS for small or medium-sized businesses. With 16 built-in drive slots, you get a maximum storage capacity of 256TB. As a result, the Synology RackStation provides enough storage space for virtualization, backups, working remotely, and video surveillance. With the 4GB RAM, you can keep multiple versions of spreadsheets and projects. That means you can recover edits and you can always go back to the version that you like best. The processor with 4 cores allows you to perform multiple tasks at the same time. With LACP Link aggregation, you can create a network connection via multiple physical ports, so all users can benefit from a higher network speed. This NAS also supports SSDs for caching, so the transfer speeds are even higher. Thanks to the 2 included camera licenses, you can store the footage of security cameras 24/7 without additional subscription costs. In addition, the RS2821RP+ has 2 power sources. That way, your NAS always stays connected when the power of one source fails.
Note:only 2.5-inch Synology SAT5200 2.5 and Synology SNV3400/3500 M.2 SSDs (separately available) are suitable as SSD cache for this RackStation.
