I bought this (Titanium Chef Baker XL KVL85.124SI with the extra accessories and the 7l bowl) for my wife who wanted to take a step up the hobby baker's ladder ...
Coincidentally, the evening after delivery we saw exactly the same device in the Bakeoff, which could already count as a reference.
After a week or two of use, she is very enthusiastic about the device. Does almost everything she has ever wanted to do with it (including pizza and other difficult types of dough). The supplied jug for the blender is seriously heavy and sturdy material (for information, if you want to put it on, also push it down a bit to get it on, otherwise you keep turning the jug around to find the "lock").
The only thing we have noticed so far is that the base of the device could be a bit heavier. If there is no bowl on it and you tilt the head backwards to put a cup under it, the device tends to tip over (especially if you try to do it with one hand). But all in all that's a minor thing.
Furthermore, the design is a bit poor (thing has the sex-apple of an average grey Volkswagen) if you compare it to some of its competitors, but I prefer a device that delivers good performance and looks a bit less than the other way around. If Kenwood would give it a push and make an eye-catcher, they would move a lot more of it.
The included accessories are really top quality, no plastic things that show deformation after a few times of heavy work. No metal parts that you feel will not let you down for the next 20 years ;-)
In summary, Kenwood quality as you expect it, rock solid with top results.
(PS: It's a bit of a shock when the box arrives ... what a whopper that was ...)
