Description

Use the Apple USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable 2m to charge your MacBook with MagSafe connector. The cable has a fabric sleeve, so it lasts longer than a silicone cable. Thanks to the MagSafe connector, the cable easily and magnetically attaches to your MacBook. The magnetic connector is strong enough to remain in place until you remove it. Plug the cable into a USB-C adapter and you're ready to use it. Did you accidentally trip over the cable? No problem. The cable automatically detaches and doesn't drag your MacBook with it. There's an LED light in the MagSafe connector that indicates if the battery of your MacBook is fully charged. An orange light means your MacBook is still charging. A green light means it's full. Note: this cable doesn't have a Lightning connector.

Note: an adapter isn't included by default.

Suitable for MacBook Pro 14/16 inches (2021).

Purchasing this cable is more hope than experience. The promise is that it is stronger, but time will tell. The specifications state that it is suitable for 100 Watts. But the MacBook Pro 2024 has a 140 Watt adapter. Would be nice if the specifications were up to date. I assume that this cable can also handle 140 Watts and will not overheat. Ask me again in a year.

It's okay, does the job, of course it's not as good as the wire you get when you purchase the MacBook. This wire is magnetic yes but it takes a few seconds for the MacBook to recognise and begin charging your Mac, otherwise you'll have to unplug and plug it back again. Like I said, it's okay, does the job. It shouldn't cost this much though
