It is a "classic" thermostat that you program like any other programmable thermostat, but in an easy way via your browser or an app and which you can consult and control remotely thanks to the internet connection. You can also connect the device to Netatmo's weather station to have an even better forecast, but just as well simply have the weather retrieved via the internet connection (a plus compared to non-internet connected devices).
