This Beko is an excellent price/quality choice in the middle segment of freestanding dishwashers. I read in advance on the Consumers' Association site and the Beko dishwashers look good and are also a lot cheaper than comparable models from Bosch and Siemens. Personally, I think the dishwasher is quite loud and drying, especially of plastic containers etc, could be better. But this is also a well-known problem with most dishwashers...
Once you know how the dishwasher works, it's really super easy, but the manual could be much better. It is a general manual for all Beko dishwashers, so you have to find out for yourself which programs and functions your dishwasher has and what all the symbols stand for. Setting the water hardness is also not really clear. Guess I've got it set up correctly now. Furthermore, it is unnecessary to actually get a version of the manual in almost all languages. You can throw it all away right away, waste of paper.
I still have to get used to the cutlery drawer and the adjustment of the racks of the dishwasher. By default, the top rack is set in such a way that you cannot store large plates at the bottom. They then come into contact with the spray arm. I find that illogical. I have now raised the rack myself, only then you can store less stuff in the top rack because dishes are quickly too high because there is still a cutlery drawer above. As a result, the extra space you have gained downstairs because you don't have a cutlery basket is lost again. And you can't put large soup spoons etc in the cutlery drawer. I also find the drawer to feel unstable. I think I like the old familiar cutlery basket better.
This dishwasher does a good job of drying for a middle class. Except plastic stuff. But am satisfied.
You can choose from enough programs (40-60/70/eco/glasses/fast 60 and fast 35. The 70-degree program can be combined with the hygiene shield function, which washes very well and dries very well. I myself use the 60-degree program of an hour most often extended with the hygiene shield function. Super clean dishes in 1.5 hours. I alternate this program with the 70 degree program and the glass program. I am not a fan of the eco mode on appliances. I do not have this yet tried.
I really like the self-dry function. It extends the duration of the programs but provides nice dry dishes and I also find it more hygienic that the door opens automatically after the program and that all condensation can escape. Only with the 2 fast programs you cannot set this option.
You can speed up certain programs with the quick function, but it hardly saves time, so you have to take that into account. You also don't have a half-loading function. But personally I don't mind this because you have the choice of 2 fast programs.

Dishwasher washes very poorly, often pots come out completely dirty. Definitely not satisfied with this purchase!

Definitely not recommended. Even when washing on the toughest program (70°), things always come out completely unwashed (as if they had not been in the dishwasher at all).
