Nice, but not good enough yet

No more searching for phone for smart home control

I mainly have it for smart home control, but unfortunately the Google Assistant is not yet optimally set up for this. There is virtually nothing to change in the layout and spoken commands can not yet control everything at the level that the dedicated apps do. For example, I haven't gotten it to let my Tado thermostat go back from Manual to Scheduled yet. Then you still have to manually search the display. And then it's faster to grab your phone and use the Tado app than digging through the Assistant's unoptimized Smart Home menu. The unit is too slow for that and you can't sort rooms yourself, for example; they are listed in alphabetical order.

I don't use Sleep Sense (or whatever it's called); ours is on the kitchen island.
