Our old dishwasher suddenly started making a lot more noise after 10 years. I think the bearings of the pump were worn out. Time for a new one. Ordered from Coolblue and the next day (!) someone came by to install it and remove the old one. What a service. The appliance is much quieter than the previous one (even before it started making noises) so that is nice. At the end of the program it opens the door a crack itself so that the moist air can escape. That is what I used to do by hand with the old one but the fact that it now happens automatically is much better. I find the layout less pleasant than the previous one but maybe that takes some getting used to. At the very top there is a very low drawer where you can put knives and such. Not very useful since there is also a cutlery basket. Because the controls are on the inside, the appliance looks nice and quiet. The appliance is also made entirely of stainless steel so I hope and assume that it will last a long time. If you register the appliance, you will receive a 5-year warranty from ATAG, which means that a repair will always cost you only 99 euros.
