Samsung microSDXC PRO Ultimate 256 GB 130MB/s

The Samsung PRO Ultimate (2023) microSDXC is a fast memory card on which I store all my photos, videos and other files. Thanks to the included adapter, it also fits in devices that only have an SD card reader. Make sure that your device has an SD port. I tested the 256 gigabyte card myself, which had enough space for me. If you have a lot of photos and videos, there is also a 512 gigabyte variant. High speeds The PRO Ultimate has high read and write speeds of 200 and 130 megabytes per second. This allows me to move files to and from the card faster than with the average memory card. Opening files on the card is also faster than I am used to with most micro SD cards. Handy adapter The PRO Ultimate fits into all micro SD ports without an adapter, but not all devices have this. Many laptops only have a normal memory card reader, just like my own laptop. That is why it is ideal that you receive an SD adapter with the PRO Ultimate. I easily plug the PRO Ultimate into the SD adapter and then into the SD port of my laptop. First check carefully whether your device has a memory card reader, because not every device has one. For example, if your laptop only has USB ports, it is better to buy the PRO Ultimate with USB adapter. Storage area With a total of 256 gigabytes of storage, I have room for many photos, videos and other files. I personally used a photo folder with about 2,000 photos. Due to the high speed, I could have transferred this folder in no time. The PRO Ultimate also has a 512 gigabyte and a 128 gigabyte variant, if you store more or fewer files than average.

As a professional (drone) photographer, I had the opportunity to test this card. These cards are often disappointing in burst mode. But I was completely amazed at the speed. When photographing birds in burst mode, every photo was spot on and the camera effortlessly wrote the photos onto the microSD card. Because it is a microSD card, I used it in combination with the supplied adapter. This ensures ease of use and makes the card compatible with different devices. You also have no shortage of capacity. With 512 GB I was able to make several flights with the drone and also do complete photo shoots with my professional system camera. All this on 1 card. All in all, a must for the professional and should not be missing in your bag or in your device.

I use this SD card for storing photos and filming my Drone DJI 4 Mini Pro and it works perfectly. The card reader is not really necessary for this, but it is useful to have it separately. I can also use this for other SD cards. In terms of memory capacity and speed, a good price/quality ratio and another 10 year warranty!
