This considerably expensive toothbrush set (I bought 2) does no more than our previous Sonicare toothbrushes. I really regret this purchase because it offers no more than a normal Sonicare toothbrush with a travel case. This travel case is nicer in design than the previous Sonicare case, but less practical in terms of use and ultimately it is all about ease of use. The connection between the app and the toothbrush more often than not doesn't work (can't connect) and that has to work smoothly, I don't have time in the morning and evening to spend minutes trying to connect to an app. Price/quality is seriously below par and again, incredibly regrettable. We have been using Philips Sonicare for decades, but this is really a travesty.

There was also slightly annoying bit with the 'smart' functionality which shows how good specific part of the mouth is cleaned: detection of front and back surface of teeth is quite inaccurate, sometimes it won't even register that I cleaned particular surface at all .
