I store my frozen products in an energy-efficient and quiet way in the Liebherr Fdi 1624-20 table-top freezer. With a noise level of 37 decibels, I am not bothered by noise and with energy class D, I save on my energy costs. However, I do have to defrost the freezer manually every now and then.
First impression
The first thing I notice about this table-top freezer is that it opens very easily. Thanks to the lever handle, the door does not create a vacuum. Great, because I can open it with one hand when I need to grab something quickly. With 92 litres, I have enough space for my bags of frozen fries and bread. I divide them clearly over the 4 drawers. I set the temperature via the display at the top of the freezer. I can choose from different temperature settings here. Thanks to the LED lighting, I can see what is in the drawers even in the dark. Handy when I quickly grab some snacks for the oven in the evening.
Nice and quiet with 37 decibels
After doing my shopping, my freezer is completely full again. As soon as I plop down on the couch, I notice how quiet it is. The freezer freezes all my products without me hearing it humming or bubbling. Great, because this way I don't have to worry about noise while watching TV, despite my open kitchen. This makes the table model also suitable for a small studio or apartment.
Save energy
Nobody wants to use too much energy and I certainly don't. That's why it's great that this table model freezer freezes all my frozen products in an energy-efficient way. With energy class D, I use very little energy. Great, because this way I always have a supply of frozen vegetables without incurring a lot of energy costs. To keep my freezer energy-efficient, it is important that the freezer compartments remain free of ice. This model has Low Frost. This means I have less trouble with ice formation. I do have to defrost the appliance once or twice. Not my favorite chore, but only twice a year is not too bad.
Fits in an unheated shed
I have the freezer in my house. If I didn't have room for it, it would also fit in the unheated shed or garage. It continues to work well down to a temperature of -15 degrees Celsius. Handy, because even in a harsh winter it keeps all my leftovers and bags of frozen vegetables.
