That way, you can stream music to the speaker via Chromecast built-in, Airplay2, and Spotify Connect. If you connect them via WiFi, you can create a multi-room setup with other Works with Google speakers. This way, you can listen to the same music in different rooms. Connecting via WiFi also allows you to listen to your music without interruptions. The music keeps playing when you scroll through your timeline or get a phone call.
