This dark gray Philips tower fan that I had the opportunity to test is nice and powerful! There are 3 basic settings for ventilation; low, middle and high. Harder means more wind, but also more sound and more freshness. Soft is especially nice when you go to sleep. Effective, and certainly audible, but not too loud. You can also set it to turn itself off. You can set from 1 to 7 hours with the buttons for 1, 2 and 4 hours, which you can also combine per 2. Very useful if you go to sleep and want the fan to turn off after an hour or two, for example. I didn't find the other settings of reducing the breeze and ventilation really necessary, but fixing the blowing direction or letting it move around is nice. A remote control is included (but aim carefully) and you can add an aroma oil (not included) for scent in the breeze.
