With the Whirlpool FFWDB 964489 WV EE washer dryer combination, you can wash and dry your clothes in one drum. With a 9kg washing capacity, you can wash large loads of bedding in one go. Great device, does what it should do

Washing and drying with 1 appliance
Fairly economical (wash A, dry C)
Fairly quiet (you can hear it, but it's not disturbing)
Gives a strange smell when drying for the first few times

Handy appliance if you're short on space. A washer-dryer combo takes some getting used to if you're used to a separate washer and dryer. Mainly because programs take longer, and you don't have a lint filter or condensation tray/air vent. Because lint and drying moisture are removed through the drain, just like with laundry. So actually quite handy, just wipe the rubber seals of your machine after drying to remove any remaining dust (it's better for the seals anyway).

Some people write that you can't select a separate drying program. You can, but the manual simply describes how.

My appliance does give off a chemical, hot plastic/rubber smell. I assume that will go away after a few uses.
