The Canon PIXMA TS4150i is a great printer for easy home use. The printer looks good, is easy to use, and the print quality is good. However, it only has two cartridges, which means refilling is faster.
First Impression
When I take the printer out of the box, I see a power cord, two cartridges, and a quick start guide. The printer looks good. It has a few buttons with icons that are self-explanatory. Furthermore, the printer is small, so it takes up little space on my desk. This means it doesn't get in the way.
Installation
Connecting the printer is difficult. I plug in the power cord and follow the steps on the Canon website. After installing the Canon PIXMA Print app, I need to connect the printer to my smartphone. Once connected, the connection between the printer and smartphone is very good, and I experience no problems. The app is also easy to use.
Print quality
I print various types of documents, from photos to text. The print quality of the text documents is good. The text is sharply printed on the paper. The printer isn't suitable for printing photos, but it prints smaller images or colored graphics in good quality. I do notice that the printer doesn't print very quickly, averaging 12 pages per minute. That's not a problem for me, as I don't print very large documents.
Small printer
Furthermore, the printer is small, so it takes up little space on my desk. This is convenient for me, as I don't have much room for a larger printer. One drawback to the small printer is that it only holds two cartridges. This means refilling the color cartridge is faster.
If you're looking for a printer that simply prints, this is a handy printer. It's very easy to use after installation and does exactly what you need it to do.
