No more worrying about your projector. With the Vogel's EPC 6545, you can attach any projector weighing up to 10kg to the ceiling. Cables become invisible thanks to the patented CIS cable management system, and with the included ceiling cover, you can easily hide the mount when it's not in use.
Thanks to the Easy Connect option, the mount is suitable for use with Vogel's Click & Switch system. Your projector is up in an instant! With the Adjust & Secure function, you can fix the projector in any desired position, so there'll be no more disappearing image during crucial moments in movies, matches, or courses. Children's drawings hanging on the wall or your beautiful new side table won't get in the way of any projection either, as the unique spherical hinge connection means you can project the image onto another wall without a problem.

In short: The bracket is difficult to install. Screwing it to the ceiling is very easy, but attaching the bracket to the projector is a challenge. Properly securing it level is also difficult, because when securing the Â'slideÂ' the beamer moves a little bit again.
Review: Bought this bracket together with my beamer, because it had a good review. I thought the price was a bit on the high side, but of course I wanted the beamer to hang properly, stable and straight, so it was worth the investment. When opening the box, you notice that there are a lot of parts in the bracket set. Screws, washers, caps, clamps. The manual is not clear enough to make sense of this right away. The drawings are unclear, and there are no written instructions. Screwing the bracket to the ceiling is even simpler. 2 big screws, and it hangs solid. I could hang on to this with my full weight I suspect. After a lot of fumbling to attach the clamps, screws and caps to the beamer, the real fiddling started. Trying to clamp and tighten a valuable beamer on the 'sphere' was almost an impossibility. At one point I thought the beamer was hanging, but it almost fell to the floor because it wasn't clamped all the way in anyway.
Finally, the beamer hung, but not quite straight. Because it started to irritate me after a week or two, I tried to hang it straight again, whereby 1 of the screw points on the beamer came loose. Removed it from the bracket, and reattached it but this time without the plastic 'decorative' caps on the clamps and by hanging it as you see fit instead of as described in the instructions. Now he finally hung on tight. But not right yet. The annoying thing about the bracket is the 'slide'' system to clamp it. When the slide is loose, the beamer can be adjusted fantastically in all angles. But if you then lock the slider, this moves the projector a little bit again, so that it no longer hangs at the right angle, or level. In the end I found that if you lock the slider, and then try to adjust the beamer a little bit again, you get the best result.
Final verdict: I would now invest a little more in a better brace, and can't recommend this one. For the sake of completeness, I'm not the most handy 'do-it-yourselfer', so honesty compels me to say that it could also be me, but I am certainly not a complete idiot with 2 left hands. The drawings in the instructions were in any case not sufficient for me, the plastic Â'ringÂ' on the bracket is difficult to remove (and it is unclear whether this is necessary in order to hang the bracket), and the adjustment and perfect hanging it level is almost impossible.

This mounting kit is indeed easy to mount with only 2 large screws. The kit is made with sturdy material. The spherical hinge allows the projector to be fixed in any direction, very convenient. He was recommended to me in the Sony center where I bought my projector, but on beamercenter.be it was cheaper and I had it the day after ordering!

The moment you want to remove the beamer to replace the lamp, it turns out that you can no longer get the plastic click disc loose. At Vögel they send you with a clod in the reeds and they say that it was probably installed incorrectly. To get the beamer loose, you have to cut the plastic disc. There is no response to a request to order that part again.
