Compare the LG G3 to the LG C3 and the LG B3

The LG G3 has an OLED EVO panel with a Micro Lens Array layer. These microcrystals merge the light in the television. The result? A television that's very bright, even compared to non-OLED TVs. Compared to the B3, the G3 is about 70% brighter. This results in a higher contrast and makes the images look lifelike. For example, you can see more subtle color transitions. Thanks to the high brightness, the screen is less sensitive to reflections. Colors also remain vibrant in bright rooms.

The LG C3 also uses an OLED EVO panel, but without an MLA layer. As a result, the TV isn't as bright as the G3. This makes the contrast slightly lower, and you can see fewer color details. You can also see reflections more clearly on the C3. Thanks to the OLED EVO panel, the TV is still 20% brighter than the B3. This means that the OLED EVO panel gives you all the advantages of an OLED screen, but with a slightly higher brightness. Black looks truly black on OLED screens, and the brightness ensures that you can see color transitions better.

The LG B3 doesn't have an OLED EVO panel, so it's less bright. The extra brightness of the LG C3 and G3 always gives you a better contrast and color gamut. You can see this best in bright rooms. This makes the B3 a good choice for dark rooms. On OLED panels, each pixel is its own light zone that switches on and off. Black is truly black on an OLED screen. As a result, you don't see a light haze around the stars in a starry sky. The black in the starry sky doesn't have a gray glow either.

The LG G3 was designed to hang close to the wall. The television has a slim design and is only 2.4cm thick. The G3 only includes a wall mount by default. If you want to place the TV on leg stands, you have to buy those separately. The 0.6cm edges are thin and blend in, just like on the C3. So you mainly see the screen.

The LG C3 is 4.5cm thicker at the bottom of the screen. This means that you can't mount it as close to the wall as the G3. The C3 includes the same leg stands as the C2. On the 42-inch model, these are 2 separate leg stands. The 55-inch model includes 1 central stand.

The LG B3 is 4.7cm thicker at the bottom. This makes it almost as slim as the C3. This also means that you can't mount this OLED screen as close to the wall. This doesn't mean that it's not an option, because 4.7cm is still slim. The B3 includes 1 central stand.

The LG G3 has 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers. Thanks to the double subwoofer, you can clearly hear the vibration of an explosion in a movie. You can also clearly hear the bass of an electronic concert. The 4 speakers give you sound that you can follow. When a racecar drives from the left to the right, you can clearly hear the sound moving along with the car. It's difficult to fill really large spaces with sound with these speakers, so we recommend a soundbar for that.

The LG C3 has 2 speakers and 2 subwoofers. The double subwoofer puts in the middle of the action. The sound is fuller, and you can clearly hear the bass flow in your favorite song. The double speakers reproduce voices clearly, but you can't clearly hear the sound move from the left to the right. As a total package, the sound isn't powerful enough to fill larger rooms. We recommend a soundbar for this.

The LG B3 only has 2 speakers and no subwoofers. This makes the sound quite sharp. You hear this less when watching your favorite talk show, but the TV is unsuitable for a live concert. If you always watch different things on television, we recommend a soundbar. Without a soundbar, the B3 doesn't fill your room with sound well enough.
