The Samsung Neo QLED 4K QN90D is the high-end Neo QLED 4K model from the 2024 series. The Neo QLED technology combines a wide color gamut with a high brightness and strong contrast. The QN90D has an excellent viewing angle and an anti-glare coating, so you can also enjoy a good image quality in lit spaces. I tested the TV and will tell you everything on my findings.

First impression of the Samsung QN90D
The design of the QN90D has a modern, pentagonal stand. The striking stand has a sleek design, so it's a stylish addition to your interior. This television includes the useful Solar One Remote, just like the other Samsung televisions. This remote charges itself via sunlight and artificial light, so you don't need batteries. Via the Clean Cable Solution, you can easily hide the cables behind the TV.
Detailed and colorful images
I enjoy vibrant and colorful images while watching an exciting movie. The powerful contrast in 4K of this Neo QLED screen stands out. Thanks to the smart AI processors, the lights of the New York skyline in this scene truly come alive. The image on the TV is automatically adjusted to the brightness in my room. This allows me to enjoy the best contrast and highest brightness when I watch my favorite series.
Strong contrast and a wide viewing angle
The Neo QLED television uses Mini-LED local dimming. This means there are thousands of mini-LED lights located behind the screen that light up and dim individually. Because these lights turn themselves off, a strong contrast is possible. The bright stars also stand out against the dark sky. The QN90D has an anti-reflection layer, so you barely see reflections of light sources on the screen. The TV also has the Ultra Viewing Angle technology. Thanks to this, the image is is clearly visible from every spot in the room.
Good sound quality
The QN90D has a rich and full sound thanks to the 8 speakers with 60W nominal power. This television has Dolby Atmos. This technology sends the sound via the ceiling to your viewing position. Thanks to this, I hear an airplane flying above me when I'm watching an exciting movie. For a truly immersive sound experience, I recommend a separate soundbar and subwoofer.
Smart platform and remote
Just like all the other Samsung televisions, the QN90D has a user-friendly and screen-filling smart menu. I can easily navigate to my favorite streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+. The TV comes with the useful Solar One Remote. This remote only has a few buttons, which makes it very clear to use. You can open the smart menu with a push of the button.
Conclusion
With the Samsung Neo QLED QN90D, you can enjoy a complete viewing and listening experience. The clear and colorful images on the 4K Neo QLED screen with anti-reflection layer provide an impressive image quality. Thanks to the wide viewing angle, you can enjoy a high image quality with a large group of people. This Samsung television has spatial audio, but I do recommend a separate soundbar and subwoofer for an extra powerful and full sound.
