That doesn't matter. You can switch to Coolblue Energy or buy a suitable washing machine first. The order isn't important.
How does Free Washing work?
Your washing machine and dryer consume energy. You pay for the water yourself. The energy is free between 12:00 and 15:00. Thanks to a smart connection to our partners, we can measure exactly how much energy you consume while washing or drying. This is possible with brands like Samsung, Beko, or Bosch, which work with SmartThings, HomeWhiz, or Home Connect. If you give them permission, they share this data with us. You can see your personal consumption in your My Coolblue environment within 3 days.

How does Free Washing with solar panels work?
You'll receive the kWh that your washing machine consumes as a discount on your invoice. Even when you're using your own solar power.
What if my wash cycle falls outside the 12:00 to 15:00 period?
Between 12:00 and 15:00, you pay € 0 of energy costs. You pay the regular energy rate for the energy you consume before 12:00 and after 15:00. For example, are you turning on the cycle at 13:30 and does it take 3 hours? You'll pay € 0 until 15:00, and the regular energy rate after that.
I already have a (different) washing machine, can I wash for free with that as well?
