We went from a second-hand Miele W5723 with a capacity of 7kg to this Siemens with a capacity of 9kg. What I think is important to realize first: most people do not buy a new washing machine every year, so the upgrade is huge anyway. I say this because I could get bogged down in details like 'oh this new washing machine seems perfect but according to the Consumers' Association it makes a lot of noise', while new washing machines are generally very quiet and your old washing machine really made a lot of noise.
