Not long in doubt whether I wanted a protective case, but about which one. This was one of the first to be available for the iPad air. Costs a bit but don't regret it. Was afraid that the iPad would be clumsy, but that is absolutely not the case. The iPad now holds much more comfortably; has more grip. Screen still responds excellently. All openings for cables are easily accessible through the "flaps". Not sure if it actually protects against falling. At least against my granddaughter's little hands. Recommended!
