According to our earbuds expert
The Sennheiser CX 3.00 earbuds deliver high-resolution audio with deep bass in a small package. The small in-ear design also reduces ambient noise to a minimum, allowing you to enjoy your music to the fullest wherever you are; whether you're in a noisy tram, or don't want to hear the (noisy) neighbors when you're home. The ribbon cable won't get tangled as easily as a round cable. Comes with 4 different sizes of earbuds, so you'll always find the right fit.

It is my job to write the first review about the Sennheiser CX 3.00. I just received them, so immediately unpacked and tried them. As the title says, the first impression is fine.
For starters, it's helpful to know which earbuds I used before I bought them. Initially I had the Urbanears Bagis: Design that IKEA could have come up with, but unfortunately they were permanently destroyed when the connection of the plug broke. In addition, they also fell out of my ear all the time, which was very irritating. Succession came in the form of the standard Samsung Galaxy S2 earbuds. These also came to an end with the same cause as the Urbanears.
Why the Sennheiser CX 3.00? The main reason: a plug with an angle in it, so that they (according to my theory) do not break for the reason as with my previous earplugs. I also knew that the Sennheiser CX 300 (not this one) is a widely sold and positively reviewed product. The CX 3.00 is the successor to the CX 300 II, which gave me the confidence to buy the 3.00.
Physical quality The first thing that struck me is the flat cable, about which I cannot yet conclude whether it actually helps to untangle the cables easily, which has been suggested. The small plug also stood out, sticking out about as far as the back of a pencil. This makes the plug stronger by making it more difficult to lean on or bump into. The plug is now more difficult to remove from a laptop or computer. The materials used are good, except for the smooth plastic edges on the earbuds themselves. On the other hand, the speakers (where you put the different sizes of sleeves over) are made of something metal-like, so beautifully finished.
Sound quality The bass is very present, but I have not experienced it as disturbing yet. I also listen to dance/house and other music with a lot of bass in it. What I do notice is that the very sharp tones are not achieved, which is really a downside.
Ambient noise Sennheiser claims that "the in-ear design reduces ambient noise to an absolute minimum". If someone calls me I can really hear it, but I don't hear the sound that typing this review makes. Most of the 'ambient noise' I hear is caused by the cable rubbing or banging against something.
Design/design (what's the difference? In this case design = design) Everyone has their own taste.. It doesn't really matter to me, I just think they look good.
Comfort They stay in my ear even when I turn my head and look down or up. I have not had any problems with my ears yet. Another problem I had with my previous earbuds is that when I took the earbuds out of my pocket, the sleeves sometimes came loose. With the CX 3.00, the sleeves are much more difficult to remove, solving that problem.
Accessories & packaging In addition to the earplugs and documentation, the package also contains 2 different sizes of sleeves (or caps). The largest are on the side of the sleeve that goes into your ear last 1.4 cm, the smallest 0.8 cm and the middle 1.1 cm. Not that the width of the side of the sleeve that goes into your ear last really says anything about whether they're going to fit everyone's ear, but I'm trying to indicate the difference in sizes with it. In terms of the sizes of the sleeves, one of these sizes must therefore fit. Furthermore, the earplugs are packed in a solid plastic box in which you can also store and take them with you. This box fits in a pocket, but is actually too big and it is easier to put the earplugs loose in a pocket.
That was my review of the Sennheiser CX 3.00. I hope you find them useful! I also hope to have set a benchmark for all subsequent reviewers.
P.S. Coolblue: You and Sennheiser say that four different sleeves are included, while there are really 3.

is the third time I buy them, not because they break easily but because they like them so much. I just lose them quickly.
