Bought this camera as a successor to my LX7 and mainly for taking pictures and not for the video function which by the way is very good. As expected, a serious step forward in terms of photo quality. Less noise and more detail in the dark zones and this up to a fairly high ISO setting. I myself try not to go higher than iso 1600, which in many cases is not necessary thanks to the bright lens. Due to this lens with opening 1.7, the bokeh effect is great. Focusing is done very quickly and efficiently. Certainly compared to my LX7. Long doubted between this camera and the GX80. The aforementioned is slightly better on paper, but the LX100 is much better in my hand.
