Since I wanted to walk a bit more and already used an app, I decided to look for a heart rate sensor. I personally run with Nike+ running and wahoo works with this as well.
I was the first to compare this heart rate sensor with polar. Went on a polar bike with the physiotherapist and compared the heart rate with my wahoo tickr x and they match, sometimes a heartbeat higher or lower, but you see that they give the same heart rate after a short time, so I consider this to be reliable.
The wahoo fitness app that you can download for free has a lot of options, you can really enter many different types of sports, walk cycling swimming snowboarding...everything... They also give them a map where you have walked, duration, distance, heart rate, burn (fat burning) and burst (building muscle mass). These values depend on your condition and age. You can easily set this up with a walk test and enter your age, just do what the device says.
Also pace (min/km) ground contact are communicated calorie burning, in other words, very extensive.
Graphically I find it less powerful than Nike+ it's nice to have all this info but not everything is useful when running. You can also get this info in cvs (excel) and other formats forward to pc.
