Switch from an Apple Cinema Display 27" to the EIZO EV2450 23.8". Despite the smaller image, I still feel like I'm looking at a large screen. Also think that this is due to the filter-thin edge around the screen. Because the screen is in a sunny environment, the matte screen is fine. On the Apple I regularly suffered from reflections. The color reproduction is very natural and the viewing angle is excellent, just like the Apple: 178 degrees. I am very happy that I can now easily rotate and adjust the screen (height/tilt). A big plus is that I am no longer tied to the DisplayPort. Despite the weight, the monitor is solid and the material feels very solid. The OSD works very easily and quickly. The many eco options also include the option to automatically switch off the monitor after X minutes, based on a motion sensor. The sound is clearly less than on the Apple (1W vs. 49W), but hey, I knew that.

The screen can also bend very far back and forth and you can rotate the screen almost 360 degrees. Rotating the screen is very smooth. Also handy is the USB3 Hub that is built in on the left. This one unfortunately only has 2 ports, but that's better than nothing. The OSD Menu is also very easy to use and the Touch Keys on the screen edge are very responsive and good. I have experienced other screens where the Touch Keys did not always respond, but that is not the case with this Eizo.

Finally, there is an extensive ECO mode that, together with the Light sensor, sets the screen in such a way that it consumes as little power as possible.
