Truly beautiful monitor with a very fine image. So sharp that individual pixels are not visible. Round shapes are also really round, letters are as if printed on paper. The resolution is 3840 × 2160, which makes letters rather small. I'm running Windows scaled to 125%, see screenshot. Perfectly readable and still had room for two programs side by side. By the way: I use the monitor for office work and surfing the internet.
The colors are fantastic and what really stands out: the screen is very evenly lit. So no darker in the corners or anything (which I was used to with my old Dell monitor).
The Auto EcoView function is also nice: if you walk away for a while, the screen goes black after x minutes (adjustable). Good for the environment and lifespan. Your return will be registered by a sensor in the lower edge and the screen will turn on again.
A minus: the built-in 1W speakers. I had hoped for a reasonable sound, usable for an occasional YouTube video, but that was disappointing. An abominably bad sound, as if it comes from headphones that are very loud. An unnecessary addition as far as I'm concerned.
The foot is fine: easily adjustable in height and slightly swiveling. But because I needed more flexibility and a nice empty desk, I replaced it with a monitor arm.
This Eizo FlexScan EV3237 is a pleasure to work with. I'm on it for about eight hours a day with no problems.
