I have owned this camera for several weeks now. I am used to taking pictures with an SLR camera and I am well versed in it. Of course I see a difference with this camera. This camera is an advantage for me because you can get an object very close with it and the quality is still more than sufficient. It's really unbelievable how you can get up close and photograph something from really far away. I also found it remarkable that you can create very nice sharpness/depth with it, ie if you want to take a photo of a leaf and zoom in a bit for this, you get the leaf very sharp and the background is nicely blurred. He photographs really nicely in good weather, very nice colors. You can also set everything manually which I have of course tried. This is all fine. Even taking pictures in the evening with a very long exposure of 30 seconds, it's all good. So for a photographer who understands manual settings, this is a very nice addition. Yet it also photographs well in automatic mode. So also interesting for the beginner. I do think it takes better pictures without flash than with flash. With the flash in the living room in the evening, it is no longer very sharp from a distance of 4 meters, I think, but then I may be very picky because of what I'm used to. From close by (1 to 3 meters) with the flash it's just fine. It is a fun toy because of the possibilities it has. Not difficult in itself, just search and you will find it quickly.
