Pros:
Taking notes for school or work on your iPad helps you organize you notes
Pros:
Feels like writing on paper
Pros:
Charges in 15 minutes
Pros:
10 seconds of charging can give you 30 minutes of writing
Con:
Tips break over time
Con:
Only works on IPad not on iPhone
The Apple Pencil charges in 15, but that doesn’t even matter because one charge last me the entire school day. I was the kind of person that would hardly, and when I would, I’d loose them, but now I have all my notes organized in iPad, which is already lighter than my note book. It feels natural to write with, it took me no time to get used to it, I began sketching the second I got it. When given printed hand outs in class I scan them on my iPhone and complete them on my iPad with the Apple Pencil, so I can save them with the rest of my notes.

Pros:
Easy to set up
Pros:
Precise
Pros:
No nonsense
Con:
Can't attach to iPad
Con:
Completely round so it rolls off the table
Con:
Detachable cap that you can lose
Con:
Price!
Everyone knows what Apple Pencil does so there are no surprises. The main surprise actually was that it cannot be attached to the iPad, so I had to buy a self-adhesive pen holster. Keep that in mind.

Pros:
Regular Apple pen, very precise
Pros:
Can use it for any app, even the ones without drawing capabilities
Con:
No magnet, can’t attach it to the iPad!
Con:
Round, rolls off
Con:
Cap falls off, you can lose it
Bought the pen because I had a 2018 version of apple iPad. I took it for granted there is a way to attach the pen to the body of the iPad when not in use, but soon I realized I was wrong. I had to buy a pen loop for notepads to hold it together.

The one and only for iPad
Pros:
pleasant to hold
Pros:
great pressure sensitivity
Pros:
great precision
Pros:
battery lasts long enough (for me)
Con:
it charges in a ridiculous way (indeed that's fixed with apple pencil 2)
Con:
you may risk to lose the cap
The Apple Pencil 1 works fantastically with the iPad. I mostly use it to draw in Procreate and I have nothing to complain about. However it is a bit stupid how it's designed (to pair it or charge it you have to stick it in the ipad's lighting input). This is quite unhandy but it's not the end of the world. There is also an adapter to charge it normally with the lighting cable. Then watch out that you don't lose the cap. The Apple Pencil 2 has no improvement in functionality, it just has a different design and it charges in a different and smarter way.
