1 piece of advice: save your money on the Jawbone's and FitBit's and go all out for the Apple Watch Series 2.

What I did have trouble with in the beginning was the Watch's constant attention-grabbing. Imagine tapping someone's wrist every time you get an email, SMS, Facebook and other apps notification? That's driving you crazy. In that case, however, there are two possibilities: either you keep your notifications clean via the iPhone settings app; or you put the Watch in silent mode continuously.

What was missing from the other trackers is the synchronization of the Watch and the iPhone. Apple has done a wonderful job here. A few examples.

When you "wipe" a notification on the Watch, it will no longer disturb you on the iPhone.
If you answer a text message via the Watch, you will also see it on the iPhone afterwards.
Apple has managed to ensure that only 1 device asks for your attention when a notification is made. That's so well done, and I work with an iPhone, Watch, and iPad.
