With the Exquisit EKI 2.5 you can prepare a evening meal in no time at all. The induction cooktop has 4 cooking zones with boost function that are heated extra fast. This means that the pan is hot almost immediately when you add the ingredients into the pan. Use the timer when a dish needs to be warmed up for a specific number of minutes. Handy, for example when cooking a steak. Due to the pan size recognition, the cooktop doesn't consume too much energy. The cooktop adjusts its heating area to the edge of the pan. When you're frying up an egg, you need less heat than when you're using a wok. Good news for the forgetful among us: when a cooking zone isn't used, it switches off automatically.

Better cooking with induction, also in rental properties!

Before I bought this hob, I had a ceramic hob from housing. This is because I don't have a gas connection in my apartment. Because I heard that induction is much better decided to look at an induction hob. This hob was within my budget so bought it!

Cooking is much easier! Pancakes become much nicer because the pan is heated evenly, products with panel more have a nicer even brown, boiling water goes a lot faster.

So do you live in a rented house and do you have a ceramic hob? Then consider replacing it with an induction. The niche in the countertops is often almost standard, so nothing needs to be changed on the countertop. In my case. The electrical installation had to be adjusted, but since I have an electrical engineering background, I did this myself. Not at home in electrical? Then I would advise to have it installed. The perilex WCD had to be adjusted from 3xL, 1xN to 2xL, 2xN. Exquisit reports that an isolation switch at the hob is required. I don't think I ever see this in practice (any hob for that matter).

All in all: Highly recommended!!!!
