Coming from a panasonic plasma screen, the inconsistency of the backlight is a disappointment. In dark scenes you often see the entire screen light up when, for example, white subtitles appear. A flaw of the technology and not so much a flaw of this screen.
The TV has a good picture, even with lower quality input material.
However, a very big negative point about this TV and also why I cannot recommend it, is that the 75 inch actually consists of 2 screens and unfortunately the transition is very clear in certain scenes because the 2 screens are not 100% exact color /intensity so that with an even light background you can see where one screen stops and the other starts. (vertical seam visible in the center of the screen).
Also 1x had a problem that suddenly the option to audio via HDMI audio return channel (ARC) was no longer in the option list. Finally got it right after several reboots. Hopefully a one-time problem, but online there are more of these issues.
All in all.. for this price I expect less problems.
NB: neutral rating for sound as I don't use the sound from the TV itself, this goes through my AV receiver.
