Jaybird Freedom (1) I've had it for 3 quarters of a year, I've always been very satisfied with it, but unfortunately after 4 breaks I got my money back (super service from CB!) Keep looking for new ones, tried different ones, but nothing came for me close to the experience and ease of use of the Jaybirds.
Couldn't resist temptation and still went for the 2. And I really enjoy these caps, they can deliver great quality music, EQ can be set graphically via the app, a whole community of EQ settings that you can try, just great. In my opinion they are the same in quality as the original freedoms, so nothing wrong with that, but what I really like is that you can easily adjust the chord, this was much more work with the previous one. I also had watching movies with the original Freedoms that the sound was sometimes a second behind, this is not the case with the Freedom 2, very nice!
The only major drawback of this Jaybird I think is that the caps and the fins are 1 whole, in the original freedom this was separate from each other so you could fit the right size caps and add another large or smaller fin if you wanted. With this one I notice that there is not the right size for me. If the inear is the right size, the fins are too small. Really not the right choice from Jaybird. I have therefore purchased an extra Jaybird Freedom accessory set so that I can put the first version on my 2nd, the problem is solved, but you have to pay those few euros extra for it. This is actually really my only complaint about these Jaybirds.
