Through The Insiders I got the chance to test this device, great! Let's see what the difference is between a basic blender with 500W and a professional blender with 1600W power. And yes, there is clearly a difference. I am a fan of green smoothies, including (frozen) kale. Kale is naturally quite stiff and then also as an ice cube .. I was curious! The result was a super smooth smoothie, but after a lot of noise! Because it is such a beautiful device, it apparently makes a lot of noise, something to be aware of in eg a noisy house / late at night / early in the morning. Another striking detail is the plastic (Tritan) jug. Supposedly unbreakable and does not absorb odor and light weight. I would rather have opted for a glass jug because of the environmental impact of plastic and the prevention of scary additives in the plastic (BPA/plasticizers/etc.). Then the jug will of course become a lot heavier and more susceptible to breaking. The lid is made of black plastic with rubber rings so that it closes well. I noticed that especially the lid absorbs odors (dishwashing liquid/garlic after preparing a soup). Furthermore, the lid does not come off easily after preparing something. I often have to put in a lot of effort, I can imagine that that is not easy for everyone. For example for people with pain complaints. I find the cleaning function ideal, although I always rinse it afterwards with clean water. But it does save a lot of messing around with cleaning the knives.
