The hard drives include Seagate Rescue Services for 3 years of data recovery.
Thanks to the Quad-Core processor, the NAS processes multiple demanding tasks at the same time, such as 4K video streaming and making backups.
The internal hard drives are included in this bundle, but you have to install the drives yourself.
With 1GB RAM, this NAS isn't suitable for use with more than 5 people at the same time.

You can store your personal files in 1 place with the Synology DS218play + Seagate IronWolf 4TB (2x 2TB). This bundle contains 2 Seagate IronWolf hard drives, with a total storage capacity of 4TB. You can place the hard drives in the NAS, so you can easily create a central storage space. You can set up RAID-1 for example, so you use a separate drive to make backups. The Synology DS218play is a NAS with room for 2 hard drives, which are designed for movie lovers. Thanks to the 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor and 1GB RAM, you can livestream 4K video files to your smartphone and tablet, when you're on the train. Or send your music from your NAS to speakers that support Google Cast as a background during a party. The photo software allows you to organize all your photos with labels, sort them in albums, and share your images with friends or family right away. You can remotely access your movie and photo collection in a browser via the simple QuickConnect site from Synology. You can store these files on the Seagate IronWolf 2TB hard drives. The Seagate IronWolf drives have an average rotation speed of 5900RPM. This means you can load your files extra fast from the drive, without interruptions. In addition, the 256MB cache memory ensures that you can quickly open frequently used files. You instantly have 4TB of storage with this combination. That's enough for about 400 Full HD movies. This product includes Seagate Rescue Service for 3 years of data recovery.
