Noise canceling: The noise canceling is good enough to filter out soft conversations (person next to & opposite me in the train) without having music on. For the heavier voices you do need some music to get complete rest.
wearing comfort: The headphones are very comfortable, do not pinch (for me) and are not too loose. The ear cushions are incredibly soft, a huge improvement over the stiff leather Sennheiser I had. It feels good quality, but not heavy on the head. I can imagine that the ear cushions are a bit small for people with larger ears, I am not bothered by this myself.
